Pre-IAS Training Center, Aurangabad is one of the six Pre-IAS training centers established primarily to train the students from Maharashtra for the U.P.S.C. Civil Services' exams.It aims to provide all the basic guidance to the needy students during the training so as to train them for the Indian Administrative Services. Here, the trainees get an opportunity to improve their knowledge and soft skills. The first center of this kind, SIAC, was started in Mumbai in 1976. Subsequently afterwards,this center came into existence in the Govt.Collage Art And Sciences, Aurangabad campus.

Prof. Dr. Pankaja Madhav Waghmare, M.A., NET, Ph.D., I/C Director, Pre –IAS training Centre, Aurangabad is a Professor and Head, Department of Sanskrit at Government College of Arts and Science, Aurangabad.
She has been engaged in teaching and research for the last 22 years in various renowned Government institutes at Nagpur, Amravati and Aurangabad. She had done interdisciplinary research in the field of Kautiliya Arthashastra. She is a well-known orator and anchor in the Marathwada and Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.
